Vitamin Deep Recordings is a name and a platform local house heads will attest is deeply linked within the underground. Through a combination of podcasts and releases the brand showcases a good breadth of what local talent has to offer, and they have upped the ante with the latter through a brand new compilation titled In Da House Sessions, Vol. 1.

All 8 tracks fall within a similarly minimal soundscape, preferring to move the feel of the release purely through sonics. For the more dancefloor orientated label owner King Schwarz puts together a creeping, rolling ballad named after anime character Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, and Random Thought drops off a high energy tracks in Concur. Kiano & Below Bangkok contribute two collaborations in Under The Ground and Zonda 660, the former of which opens the listing with a strong & catchy energy. Sabastian Mugg & San Luis Potoise come together for probably the biggest diversion in sound with Silly Old Man, featuring a Mugg’s signature low slung drive with light melodics over the top.

Editor’s Favourite: King Schwarz – Kaguya Ōtsutsuki (Original Mix)
